
ORGANISATION OVERVIEW
During the Pan African Conference on Tax and IFFs 2017, youth from across the continent resolved to take a proactive role in the Fight against IFFs and thus formed the Youth for Tax Justice Network (YJTN) with a vision of creating a knowledgeable and proactive generation of tax justice champions across Africa by empowering young people through informative, interactive and knowledge-based avenues that advocate for fair and progressive tax systems and policies and the optimum management and utilization of natural resources.
So far, the YTJN has presence in Uganda, Burundi, Kenya, Lesotho, Rwanda, Tanzania, South Africa and Botswana
GOAL
A Prosperous and Engaged Youth who enjoys their social, political and economic rights in Africa.
VISION
To enhance youth participation and beneficiation from domestic revenue mobilisation, allocation and utilization within the Africa.
MISSION
To empower youth through informative, interactive and knowledge-based avenues to advocate for just and fair tax systems and optimum natural resource management and utilization so as to attain equitable and sustainable development in Africa.
